Hysterectomy, 7 months on.......

Hello ladies. Apologies in advance, could be a long one!

I had a hysterectomy in May leaving behind ovaries but removing severe endo from everywhere! I have been doing really well and I am getting my life back gradually after years of suffering. However, for the past 3-4 months I am constantly being unwell and still feel weak. I seem to catch whatever is about, even had a unknown rash all over for 2 months!! My hormones are all over the place bringing on the emotional ups and downs, I am always getting headaches/migraines and the most swollen sore boobs!! There doesn't seem to be many days when I feel normal!!! I started swimming a lot and was trying to get fitter (difficult when your haven't done anything for years) but I haven't been for months because of something or another, currently another cold! I just wondered whether anyone else has been through the same? At first I thought that my immune system was low as it has taken a hammering over the past few years, but I'm not sure that after 7 months I should still be struggling to be 'well'. I accept that I will never be a 100% because of the surgery, but there just seems to be one thing after the other and it's beginning to get me down. Could really do with some advice!

Hi, I'm sorry to hear you still having a tough time.

I have recently undergone hystarectomy save for ovaries & cervix on 3 Nov as well as significant endo ablation.

I keep getting sore boobs too, every couple of weeks!!! As well as pains. Do you still experience any pain?

I had only been on short car journeys & this week felt better so drove longer, got stuck in traffic for over an hour & it became quite painful. It's taken 3 days to settle.

You must be feeling low as I'm sure you expected after op to feel tonnes better.
