Progestin only?

Hi all, I was diagnosed with Endo in October (pre-op) and was advised to take my birth control back to back without a break, looking at surgery in Feb.

But I've been suffering from migraine aura for the last few months, and I've been told this increases my stroke risk, so I've been put on progestin only.

I'm just wondering if progestin actually helps endometriosis? My doctors seemed hesitant to put me on it, as its apparently not as helpful, but they were much more hesitant to keep me on something that soubles my stroke risk.

Is anyone here on progestin? Thanks all! K xx
