I have been getting really bad pain for 5 months and doctors have finally said they think it is endometriosis. I'm only 23 and its already ruling my life. I've lost 2 jobs because I can't complete a full month and I'm constantly in pain and can't do anything.
How do you guys cope with it?
Any help or advice would be great x

I'm really sorry you're having such a bad time of it. I'm 22, so I know how frustrating it is, wanting to be able to do everyday things that all your friends do, and not being able to. I wish I could help you more, but all I can say is that your health is the most important thing; don't ever think that you're letting people down. Focus on yourself, you're doing the best you can
I cope by doing the little things that make me feel normal. I go on a short walk with my boyfriends dogs, I draw, I bake, read a book, or just watch my favourite film/programme. Get your friends round, have a film night where you do absolutely nothing. Relax, and don't stress about anything. It does make it worse. Ooh and bubble baths are great!
Try and stay positive. Anything else I can help with, you're welcome to ask any questions.
Hey, sorry you are having such a tough time. I know the feeling. Over the last couple of years the pain has got worse. For the last couple of months docs just kept saying nothing wrong. now they have said it might be endometriosis. I get so frustrated at not being able to do anything as I normally walk for hours at a time. So I try to walk to the shop and back which for me is 15 mins there, and 15 mins back. that's normally enough for me. That tires me. A nice relaxing bath often helps. I have lost countless jobs as well for being constant pain so know how you feel there. if you ever need to talk im here. Im only 20 but already I feel like its ruling my life too. and have now lost my partner over it. I know how lonely it can get. Especially when docs look at you and think your crazy, but finally there are listening to me and hopefully they are going to do the tests now. As for coping with pain I often try hot water bottles, if the pain is mild I normally manage with neurofen. but when the pain is serve I take Tramadol (prescribed to me when I was in hospital with bad pain) but I don't like taking them for long as they are strong and make me sleep and they can (with some people) become addictive and I don't want to take that risk. Always here! keep smiling! I hope you are ok! xx
