I've been suffering with serve pain since around then end of 2014 beginning of 2015. I went to the doctors and they referred me to the the Gynacologist as there were more symptoms that just pain, I got told by the consultant it wasn't something they could do.
Now years later I'm back at the Gynacologist, on my first visit back this year in august I got told it could be endometriosis, other medical professional have also said it could be. I've had lots of tests done and still am getting nowhere. I was back at the Gynacologist yesterday I asked about the lap to see if they would do it or advice me, they are refusing me it as I'm only 18.
I'm in constant pain every single day, to the point where I can't get out of bed, there's bleeding most of the time. I'm absolutely shattered every day wether I get 6hours or 12hours sleep. I've been given tablets after tablets and I'm not a person who likes taking them unless needed but I just feel like it's pointless at the moment, I'm currently at uni and thinking about leaving as I'm that mentally, physically and emotionally drained. No one is seeming to help.😭
I need some advice in what to do....
Sorry about the post been so long😢

Hi, so sorry to hear your having a tough time. Have they offered you any scans? Did they say what age you have to be to have laparoscopy? Hope things get sorted for you soon x
So sorry to hear of your horrible situation. Could you go back to your GP and ask for a referral to a different gynecologist (have a look on Google to see if there are any BSGE accredited centres in your area)? Your age shouldn't be a factor in having a lap- I had one at 13 to remove a large ovarian cyst.
I'm sorry to hear of your pain and troubles. Could you go back to your GP and be frank with him or her and state your problems with pain and your bleeding. Say to them you wish to be referred for further investigations as currently you feel that more can be done to diagnose what's wrong. Have you had tests for std's? Did they come back ok. Keep strong and keep fighting until someone sits up and listens to you. Tell your GP you have no normal quality of life and its affecting you that much that you are seriouly considering leaving uni. You don't want to as you want to find the cause of the problems your experiencing. Good luck and never give up xx
I've got an appointment next week with the GP and I've had ultrasounds done, internally and externally and been tested for STI's and everything been clear. I'm at the point now where I'm so used to the pain and things it's normal but I'm getting really down about it and don't see the point in anything anymore🙄
Sorry your having a tough time, your doing really well and I’m sure you will get sorted. My CT scans were clear too. I had an MRI scan in July this year and that’s how mine was picked up as it’s deaper scan but mine is connected to my bowel. I really hope u get further with your gp. Don’t give up x
If they don't give me an answer next time I go back I think I'll ask for a MRI scan to see if that shows anything, and I'm sorry it's not a nice thing it's horrible x
