I took Visanne for approximately one year. I stopped taking it recently because I was gaining too much weight. I am due to see my doctor at the end of the month and will discuss other options. Visanne really did help with the pain for the endo.

Thank you for answered me, I'm still in Vissane, more that one and half year, but I did try to stop Visanne intake, and bleeding and little pain coming back, so I starting taking it taking again. Because I'm gain weight too, now I'm doing some cardio exercises, that help a little. I will go next month to my Doctor for an ultrasound and see what she said. Thanks to Visanne, I have a normal life

Hi marce72, I am so happy to hear that Visanne works for you. I am on Visanne for about a year right now and I feel great , no pain an no side effects now. I have a question - do you still continue with it? I wonder if it is loosing its effect after 2 years or so. Is there any pain coming back? On the web i can not find any reviews from girls who is on this medication for more then 2 years. My doctor pushing me for hysterectomy. I am 40 now and done with kids, but I am not happy with his suggestion. I really wanna know if it's possible to stay on Visanne till natural menopause (in my case 10 years)? I would appriciate any comments and thanks everyone on this forum for sharing their stories it helps a lot.
