Hi I've just been diagnosed with endometriosis and very low progesterone and I'm looking for any advise on how to manage the excessive and prolonged bleeding ,pain and if any diets have helped in loosing weight as I am overweight xxx

I would suggest investigating a mirena coil. I had mild endo for many years, generally controlled by the pill until I was deemed too old. A Gynae suggested my progesterone was low, and my oestrogen still very high for my age and that the mirena would be the best solution. For me it was the answer to my prayers, all pains etc gone. I'm now wondering what I do as my mirena reaches the end of its life.

The coil isn't for everyone, but I would check it out - I've never known mine was there, and it only took a couple of months to settle down - while even those months were bliss compared to the usual.

Thanks Hun I did try coil but had it removed 5 days later as it was too painful and they found an infection xx
