Just come down with a cold just runny nose and few sneezes operation is friday will they go ahead thank you

Hi I was in the same situation recently and they went ahead with the op, they listened to my chest to make sure I didn't have a chest infection. Think every hospital might be different though, if you feel really ill ring them before hand for advice. I was drinking water by the gallon, taking vitamin c and breathing in eucalyptus for fun trying to rid myself of symptoms! Good luck x

It does depend on how healthy you are other than the cold. what other risks are involved. definitely keep the hosp informed and updated.

If it becomes a chesty bug then it will be postponed, but they often do go ahead when it is still just at the sinus, runny nose stage.

Am goin 2 try get meself better if no better by wed il ring due in Thursday fingers crossed its not cancelled. I dont feel chesty it literally is only my nose
