Anyone else's day include going to bed looking like u've eaten a beach ball and waking up as if mike tyson has done 10 rounds on ur belly?
Hi merelea83 sorry your in so much pain . I have stage 4 endo and my belly looks like I'm pregnant half the time ! All you pain in your lower half migh be the endo on your nearves ending that are making souring pain , good luck wih your op in July I hope that can help you to take away some or your pain
I hope so, gets u down sometimes hey my hubby gets so worried about swelling
Oh it's such a horrible feeling!
I found that cutting out gluten really helped and making big changes to my diet. I use the endo diet as a guideline. Just do a search top right for more info and links. I had some french bread a few weeks ago and sure enough my tummy swelled up. I really didn't think I had any issues with gluten but that proved it for me. It seems to be very common with endo.
I also find that mint tea helps a great deal.
Hope you find some relief and good luck with the op. x
I also get the pregnant looking belly it amazes me how much it can swell in such a sort space of time my pain seems to be always lower back followed by pelvic pain but it is hideous ! Xx
Good luck all. X
God where do I start. I have stage 4 endo and large fibroids, the biggest two measuring over 5cms. I'm in bed every night between 7-8pm as the constant aches and pains in hips, legs, back and pelvic/bowel areas are so bad and I'm constanly tired. Still, there is light at the end of the tunnel as a very good consultant has agreed to operate on both the endo & fibroids.... Wahooooo! Good luck with your op
HIYA , YES I HAD THAT FEELING FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS BEFORE THEY HELPED ME , I HAD THE OP AND ALL HAVE BEEN WELL SINCE 2008 XXX I DO ALWAYS GET IT STILL ON AND OF BUT NOTHING LIKE BEFORE , THE ENDO IS ON MY BLADDER AND I STILL GET SOME LOWER BACK ACHE , AND DRAGGING FEELING ON FRONT BUT OP WAS SO WORTH IT XXX HOPE YOU GET HELP SOON X
I have the same problem with my stomach. No matter what I eat my belly swells up really big of a night time and recently ive been waking up and still looks swelled. I only have mild endo and it still effects me. I eat really healthy but might try the endo diet and just excercise more I suppose. It looks like I am about 6 months pregnant sometimes and I have put a stone on since getting diagnosed with endo :(. So not only do we suffer with pain but we also have the horrible symtoms of weight gain and bloating. I hope your op goes well and your endo is removed to relief your pain xxxx
I'm booked in for my pre op next Friday can't wait for the op hoping it will give me some relief don't know what to think, not sure if I expect them to find endo or not x
I have been wondering how many endo sufferers are actually getting the majority of their symptoms from SIBO. This study on monkeys is very interesting. How many of you have tried probiotics with success? x
