my question is I have to go on a course but my doctor has given me a sick note, so do I still have to go on course and attend interviews at job centre

Not able to answer this fully -may be best to check with DWP.As far as I know if you have a sick note,you are obviously unable to work or go on courses or interviews. You may have to fax the sick note to job centre as proof.If you are continually unable to attend interviews, this may work in your favour as you may get moved into the support group.
