I'm a new member here and i don't even know how i got to this page but here i am. I have a endo on my womb the size of a golfball i found out i had it when i was 19 years old and just had my son about a month before and acording to the things i've heard i'm only going to have the one child. Have been trying for another baby for 2 and a half years now and nothing i'm really starting to fade away the sadness is consuming me i feel like i have failed as a mom to be able to provide my son with a sibling 😭

Oh I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way. I’m not a mother, but my mother had issues conceiving as well. She had many health problems including a double uterus and other issues like that.

My mother had my sister and wanted to have me so badly. She went through a miscarriage and finally when my sister was 5 1/2 years old she conceived me. So there is hope!

Please don’t try to beat yourself up about not being able to have another child yet. Be happy you have your son! (Which I know you are!!) I’m sure he understands, or will understand some day.

If you’re worried, have you tried consulting a doctor about this? Maybe there is something else they can do to help you. I’ve seen some miracle babies before in my family when all hope was lost!

Good vibes being sent your way xx

Thank you. I have seen a dr but they just keep on telling me the sam things over and over. I'm also not in the U.K i'm in SA and the dr's here don't really give a damn as long as they get paid they are happy.

I’m not in the UK either. I’d go to a different doctor if I were you.

Hi, we have been trying for a baby for 2 years now and have just been referred to the fertility clinic, the waiting list isn’t too long. What helped us was to sit down and almost manage our expectations. We understand that the could be a very real possibility of us not having children but we are determined to have a child. If we unfortunately can’t have children and IVF doesn’t work,we are going to go for surrogacy (it’s not cheap and we arnt rich but we are willing to do whatever it takes) if for some reason that doesn’t work out then we will adopt.

I know it’s easy for this to consume you! I’ve spend many sleepless night wondering why me. Then I think regardless I will have a child regardless of how it happens.

Don’t lose hope! You have had one child fingers cross it’s just taking a little bit longer.

Best wishes xxx
