Has anyone had lap on bowels?

I'm awaiting lap on my bowels and very nervous it's my second lap but the first one wasn't that bad but 4 months later and I need more surgery but this one scares me.

I didn't have bowel surgery as such but I had extensive stage 4 removed from my bladder and bowel, I had a colorectal surgeon on standby but didn't need it, they reinforced my bowel with a certain kind of suture that dissolves into your bowel after time xx

Hiya. Yes my entire bowel was stuck to the muscles of my back, to my uterus, ovaries and bladder! However surgeon was able to free all this away and re-suspend my organs, but it did take 4 hours total as I also had 12cm cysts and twisted tubes etc. Some Endo was also eating into a part of my bowel which they were unable to remove but this was a v small amount. Nothing to be scared about, yes I was terrified initially but after my recovery, bowel movements were a breeze and not painful. Lol. Had my op end November 2013. Am now back jogging and doing 15 mile treks on mountain bike. Good luck for your op. Wishing u well
