I've been using clear blue digital ovualtion test and this is my 6th day with a positive reading. Surely this isn't possible right? I had 2 negative ones when I first testing but this is confusing now! Any advice at all is welcome. Hope you are all keeping well

I have PCOS as well as Endo. Ovulation kits aren't useful for ladies who have PCOS as the hormonal imbalance will often produce a positive test ( the LH surge) although no ovulation has occurred.

I would definitely speak to your GP if these results happen next month.

Best wishes,

Thank you, but why would I have two negative tests when I first started? I'm so confused xx

Unfortunately it's to do with the hormonal imbalance in the middle of your cycle. Ladies who have PCOS do not produce the right amount of hormones at the right times. This stops the eggs from maturing enough to be released from the ovary.

Best to check with a doctor if this happens again. The doctor may want to do blood tests at specific days of your cycle.

This may have just happened this month and is nothing to worry about.

The other thing to check is the date on the ovulation kits.

Best wishes

Barbara
