Had my lap yesterday

I had my lap yesterday and my surgeon found endo mostly on my left side and the back of my vagina does anybody no the recovery time and when the pain should go x

I hope you are not in too much pain after your lap.

Did they remove the endo during procedure?

Recovery time is different from person to person. I would say it took me around 2 weeks at least to recover after removal of endo and fibroid but I had an infection after surgery. The thing that gave me the most pain was the trapped gas they fill you with.

Don't be surprised if you end up with it in your shoulder it's suprising where it gets!!

Make sure you get plenty of rest and TLC. Also peppermint tea is great for the trapped wind!!

Hi nat18 yep they removed it there and then and I have horrible pain from the gas my incisions are very painfull and swollen but I'm trying to take it easy I would take peppermint tea but dint like peppermint I have to see my gp Friday so I'll ask her for somthing if it's still there I didn't think I would be in so much pain xx

It does take quite awhile for the gas to go unfortunately it's a nuisance !! You will feel sore anyway for at least a few days as you have had

Endo removed and that is painful in itself without having the trapped wind as well !!

Get your gp to check your incisions on Friday just in case there is any infection. Just make sure you take it easy and don't try to do too much too soon!! I hope all goes well for you xx Nat18
