How can I get my op brought forward?

I was booked in for my lap on the 2nd jan and went for my pre op today and they've put my lap back to the 23rd jan I've arranged the time of work and arranged everything for 2nd, I was put in for the 2nd coz of how bad I've been now they changed it any1 know how I can try get it changed back.

That there was a emergency appointment put in on that date, I'd been given that app as I was a urgent case myself

You could always call up and ask them to let you know if a cancellation becomes available

having worked in the NHS your best option if you want an earlier appointment is to go onto the cancellation list or you could just phone them every day to see if they have a cancellation. There are always spare slots for emergency patients and if these are not used up they are freed up for other patients to fill the slot Good luck

ps. be prepared to go into hospital within hours if you decide you want to go down this route - thinking of you :0)

Ye I think I'll stick to the appointment they've given me as the hospital I go to now isn't local
