Hey sweety, the only way to see endometriosis is by a laparoscopy (key hole) they pop a camera in through a small insition in your belly and your pant line to see what's happening inside. If you have it they will cut away what they can (I went private, nhs might get you to go back again to get bits removed) depending on if you have endo and what stage will depend on your options. I have serve stage 4 so I need hormone replacements to stop the female hormone creating the endo again. They may have a simple option of putting you on the pill. If you don't bleed you stop the endo. But don't worry or panic. Ask all the questions you need to the doctors and us! Good lucky sweety xx
I am also in the same situation as you, as I had my first gynae app three weeks ago, it wasn't that long, he done an internal and asked me about symptoms and how long Iv been getting them, he then explained the lap surgery to me and that he would like to do that as that's the only way you can determine if you have endo or not. He went theough the risks of it but didn't really say much about if I have got it, he just said if I have it then I have a difficult road ahead of me, now awaiting my letter, good luck x
