6 weeks post op for endo and now my sex life is worse than ever!! help me!!!

I had surgery 9 weeks ago to try laser some endo off, then surgery 6 weeks ago to remove my endo covered appendix, now my sex life is worse than ever, its too painful to finish and there is so much blood, my gp is useless and I cant get into my gyno, any advise????

change your GP Practice and explain why to the New GP

and ask for a new Gyne it took me 3 Gyne's to find one who helped me

I bled solid for 18 months before my old GP took any notice by which time I had decided to change GPs

other than a couple of cauterisations I have been sympton free for a while and its bliss

i wil say though the pain is sometimes psycolgical

we get so scared of what might happen our bits dont do what they are supposed to do and we experience a lot of pain, sometimes its wise to maybe get some sexual therapy for you and your hubby just in case it does help

I found certain times of month Sex was all but impossible usualy the week before I was due

but every body is different

My advice would be change GP and Change Gyne Now before you let it go too far

and go to a sex therapist who knows about Endo to help both of you relax

remember he is probably tense and nervous in case he hurts you so making th ewhole process unpleasant for both of you

Hi thank you for your reply, I've changed my GP many times, im from a small town in Australia so there isn't a lot to choose from!

the therapy seems like a really good idea, I thought it might have something to do with me being so tense but I just couldn't help it! ill give that a go

GPs are not helpful, but i had surgery in may and took until October to be relatively pain free, felt worse after surgery, wondered if i did the right thing, but now im feeling better, and hope it lasts, still a little pain but nothing compared lol
