I started the diet just so see if it helped, I wasn't sure if it would and my doctors said it was nonsense.

But I can tell you it has worked wonders for me. I'm almost two months in and my pains on a daily basis are so much better.

The main points i would suggest are -

Cut out all caffeine, sugar, alcohol and fats (fast food and processed foods)

These all cause hormonal imbalances and do not help the body deal with pain

- cut out wheat, most women with endo are wheat intolerant. I noticed I was less bloated, had less pain after meals and also less bowel problems

- take your vitamins ! Iron, magnesium, flax seed, vitamin b. all of these help with energy and dealing with pain.

- have red meat no more than once a week, due to the hormones and enzymes in it

Where possible buy organic to avoid chemicals

If you are trying for a baby then it's really worth a shot, even if you cut out just a few things.

The endometriosis diet book had a few good recipes you can follow. The endometriosis source book has a lot of info on supplements an vitamins (it's a hefty book though!)

Good luck and I hope it helps
