Do these hurt too? Tampons are now too excruciating to use and pads aren't great for heavy periods I've found (I usually use tampons and pads).
Can't have mirena/implant/injection (due to depression).

Moon cup all the way. I used to wear tampons but like you said it gets very uncomfortable. It feels wierd when you first use it and to make sure it was completely reliable I used a sanitary pad for the first week as wanted to double check I wasn't leaking. Been using mine for 3 months now and can't fault it, I hardly notice it's there and it saves me so much money each month. My doctor highly rates it and so do i
Thanks!
i dont want to put you off i had it and it got stuck is funny but ended up staying in hospital the doctors was considering surgery but they managed to remove it without surgery thankfully but it all depends on the women and if you have had children or not and make sure you get the right size please dont let this put you off just thought you should know about the good sides and bad good luck xxx
Hi, I had a similar experience... painful! I've been using 'Gift' natural sanitary pads and pantyliners. I was introduced by someone on the Irish Endometriosis Assoc blog - and I find they're the best I've found. Really soft and comforting and more absorbent than other pads. The Long ones are the best for me on heavy days but even the Normal ones are very absorbent. You can get them from Holland & Barrett
You need to try the new 'Gift' sanitary pads at Holland & Barrett. Unlike other natural brands, they don't turn to mush!
They're actually really luxurious and really absorbent.
The pads have a layer containing the Tourmaline mineral which balances hormones and gets rid of infections. It actually got rid of my migraine somehow... Give them a try giftwellness.co.uk
