Ive had my mirena coil fitted nearly 2 weeks ago I've come on my period 8 days ago and still bleeding I'm experiencing alot of pain

I'm having the pain everyday and it's getting worse how long does it last I'm trying alsorts to ease it like hot baths and hot water bottles but nothing happens

I had mine put in on the 30th of july, it's just over a month, and the pain i'm in is unbelievable I can suffer a lot of pain as all Endo girlies know, but this is unreal, i'm hot 1 min then cold my hands are like wax & I've pins & needles, I have 2 more Zoladex injections 2 go but since I came home from hospital I haven't stopped bleeding. Some is heavy like when i'm doing something. I am so fed up & in so much pain I am strongly thinking of getting it out... Please keep me up dated on how you are. Take-care. Xx

I will do hun they told me the pain was because it's a foreign body inside so it Will settle in time but I can't take strong painkillers due to severe constipation do I'm only allowed paracetamol that doesn't do a thing what do I do. Xx

My friend had a similar situation and after 6 months she had to have it removed. Hope it gets better quick for you

I have bad constipation as well my Doc give me movacal sachets, you see my Endo is stuck to my bowel, depending on how bad you can have 3 sachets a day you just mix it with water & it taste like your just drinking water, it's very good & expensive so try & get a Doc that is understanding as these are not bad for you & are the best of all meds for it, really hope this helps you, as I am on a lot of medication & it was a really good GP that recommend these. Also you could see about a pain patch I think I am going to. Hope to hear how you get on... Chin up..

I've nsen in hosp a few times with severe impactation and they have given me alsorts to try get me going toilet its ended up me being referred to surgical doc's for my constipation I've ended up having clean prep and picalax for it I'm on meds myself. I'm just wanting this pain to go away it's getting worse and sharper and only allowed paracetamol.
