First laparoscopy.

What did you all take in with you for your first lap? Its just to look around and if there's mild endo they'll treat it. If it's more severe they'll bring me back a diff time. Got to go for 11am god knows how long i'll be there!

I had a lap back in sept. Was just a look about, as have painful periods and ttc. Nothing was done at the time. Now been back to discuss my options and told I need another to deal with the endo. Abit of a pain all round really.

Hi hun, For my first lap I took leggings and slip on shoes and a comfy pair of knickers to come home in as I was sore and found it difficult to bend over, peppermint tea as it helps with the gas and good for digestion, sanitary towels as hospital ones are huge!, magazines, my phone and ear phones so I didn't get bored whilst waiting. Remove all nail varnish, jewellery and make up, don't wear deodorant or perfume. Take any medication you are taking in with you and a dressing gown and slippers to go down to theatre in. All being well you might be first on the list for afternoon operations but until you get there you won't know. Just remember to rest even if they don't do alot, as you will recover quicker.
