been took of the pill cos liver function test is abnormal

my bloods were ok in november now the liver function in abnormal there think it is cos of the pill i started in december eny one had out like this

I had liver problems on the pill. I had obstetric cholestasis with both my pregnancies, its a liver problem that happens in pregnacy. So now I cannot take anything with oestrogen in! Not ideal as doc says probably cannoy take HRT. Hope this is helpful, if you have any other questions about it, will try to help x

i am not pregnent so can i still have it i have had kids

I had the liver probs b4 I had kids whilst taking the pill (I came off pill as doc advised coz of liver probs, then got pregnat several months later!). I was on the pill for several months and became very ill, my liver wasn't functioning prop. Doc thinks that it is the oestrogen in the pill that causes my liver probs. Coz u get high levels of oestrogen in pregnancy I also had liver probs in pregnancy. So for me it is the oestrogen in the pill that causes the problems. Hope this explains it better x
