Hi
They cause inflammation in the gynae/pelvic area which increases the pain, so its better to stay away from them. The endo diet says that women with endo should not include them in their diet.
I use rice or almond milk for my cereal in the morning, but I have the occasional peace of cheese. x
Dairy is bad for most conditions , high on the list of no gos for MS & diabetics too.
I'm vegan & can tell you most fake cheese is pretty horrible. Also they are soya which we also shouldn't have.
BUT .... There is a product that everyone I know who's tried (including meat eaters) really likes .
It is called Engervita . (Yeast flakes) It adds a strong cheese flavour to things & very high in B vitamins.
Great for sauces or baking. Cheap too.
As above for inflamation, it also causes excess mucas production.
I've recently cut out wheat (inflammatory) , cow's diary (inflammatory and passes through the oestrogens from the hormones / antibiotics etc from their feed if non organic) (although a little organic butter ok...), orange and grapefruit (gut irritants), soya (oestrogenic - aggrivates endo), alcohol, cafine, refined sugar (although I have some in cooking)... chocolate (except soya free, sugar free dark 70% lint is good).
I have sheeps yoghurt, which is amazing, and sheeps cheeses.
I have either coconut or almond milk on cereal / porradge
I have wheat free bread and pasta
I now feel amazing, I have more energy, have lost weight, can cope on just paracetomol / heat pads.
