I know how u feel... i was exactly the same before my opperation but honestly by the time i went it was all over and done with. I was worried about after pain but they give you a lot of pain killers so you won't feel a thing.

Just think that as soon as you get it done it means no more stupid cysts and pain!

Thanks for the reassurance, I'm not actually sure what I'm scared of!! Which is even more stupid!! Can't wait till its over with!! 15m of waiting is long enough to be wondering what's wrong xx

I've not posted on here yet as I've just been lurking & reading everything. I just wanted to say that I have my first lap tomorrow as well. I must admit I am nervous & I think it is the thought of the pain afterwards that is scaring me the most. Hope it all goes well tomorrow & perhaps we can be recovery buddies together in the coming days.lol xx

Hi, cool we have laps on the same day!! My admission isn't until 12:30 but hoping it'll be over and done with quickly!! I'm in Herts. Defo recovery buddies!! Ill post again tomoro x

I don't need to book in until 12:30pm either. I think my consultant booked my theatre slot for 3pm but I guess that could all change tomorrow. I'm going into Hillingdon so potentially not too far away from you depending on where in Herts you are. x

Well I am back home now. They found nothing in fact I was told & show my perfectly healthy pelvic cavity & ovaries right round to the pouch of douglas. I felt totally fine after coming round, a little bit of pain now & a bit queasy after the car journey home but I am going to head to bed soon & just rest.

Hi tiger lily!! I'm home too, wasn't bad at all. Painkillers wearing off now so gonna have something to eat and tabs then bed I think. The bleeding of my belly cut is still a little bad aswel. But in general feel fine. I have endometriosis of the left utersacral ligament which explain a lot. They took a biopsy of bladder aswel as that was inflamed but could just be infection but won't know for 2weeks. My cervix is also eroded and sore that's why pelvic exam so painful, so might have to have laser to sort that. As for endo, it's minimal so pain relief and the pill should be effective for now.

Sorry nothing was found tigerlily. I suppose it rules stuff out but not really any use for you. I hope they find the cause of your pain soon. Take care x

Hey, just wanted to say that minimal endo doesn't always mean minimal pain. If you're still in a lot of pain on the pill and with painkillers tell your GP and ask to be referred again x

Thanks doodah, I felt a bit of a fraud when doc said it was minimal, especially hen she said it wasn't worth treating!! I know I'm not mad, it does hurt a lot!!
