Wish me luck for Thursday my lap

I have my lap Thursday, possible colostomy bag as a spot is on rectum, spots on blood supply to ovary so possible loss of ovary and fibroids removed possible hyster. What are the chances of these happening as I am terrified I will wake up with all my 'lady bits' gone. X

Hi good luck, I think they have to go through all the possibilities like saying they can puncture bladder when they do lap and you have to give consent to be cut open and mended in case, its very unlikely but they have to have consent incase so maybe they're just covering all possibilities. I hope it goes well and they will only do what they have to so try not to worry and get lots of rest xx

Good luck for your lap I've just had mine and endo had been confirmed sounds silly but feels like a big weight has been lifted! Hope yours goes ok and all the best for recovery xx
