Has anyone has tried the DASH diet to raise eGFR and lower creatine?
I've been following it for for a few weeks and my bloods this week shows an increase of eGRF from 16 to 18 and decrease in creatinine from to 366 to 344 so hopefully that's a good sign.

I have been on a CKD diet prescribed by my GP for 4+ years, and is based on blood work results for sodium, potassium and phosphorus and my eGFR level. Best to check with your Doctor for a diet that is appropriate for you, as are many factors to consider. The prescribed diet has helped the progression of CKD.
I wouldn't say I follow DASH specifically but I do follow a lot of the same principles. I have recently gone more organic, plant based, whole food type eating. I get labs in a few weeks. I have been stable at stage 3 for 3 years, but I would be thrilled if my Creatinine, the only thing still slightly elevated to go to normal. Unfortunately this time of year, due to the heat and humidity where I live staying hydrated enough is difficult so my eGFR typically goes down a couple of points. I am going to try to flood my kidneys before I have my blood drawn, lol.
