Hi kithsirid, I'm 38 and male. Egfr level is 59 but have protein++ according to my last report that rated me CKD stage 3A. Will do another urine test in July to confirm the urine situation. I'm so happy you are doing OK now. Cheers!!!

Hi gowusu

I'm very similar to you

I have ckd stage 3 but last time my doc said I had went down to stage 2 it's all to do with your egfr numbers anything below 60 is stage 3 but it can go up and down, I think everyone's does but only ckd patients ever know about it as we are monitored

I'm 38 yrs old male with a small amount of protein in my urine but I only have 1 working kidney the other has not developed properly and has very little function From birth

Iv have only found out about this in the last 2 yrs due to a urine check otherwise I wouldn't have been none the wiser

Good luck I wish u well

Hi Stevo99,

Thanks so much for your reply. I know I'll slip back into stage 2 and better. I was diagnosed October last year when my blood pressure shot up. I didn't take it serious until I started reading about it last month. Now I drink a lot more water than I used to. Are you on any medication to reduce your creatinine level? Mine is 132

Hi

No no meds or symptoms or anything apart from small amount of protein in urine

I think my last creatinine level was around 120

But I'm being more active and eating more healthily

Do you have any other symptoms?

Lower back pain, tiredness, swelling ankles/wrists etc ?

No I do not have any of the symptoms you mentioned apart from running up high blood pressure. But that too is being managed with medication. Trusting to catch up with you on the creatinine level. Last count 132
