Allergy Season

I have seasonal allergies.

I would typically take decongestants however I am so paranoid about taking anything that dehydrates me.

I drink plenty of water but it still concerns me.

Are there alternative ways to manage your allergies without allergy pills?

Hi Margie,

Aren't the allergies grand!

I can relate to your concerns.

I was given Claratin, non drowsy gell caps for a sinus infection last year- just made sure that I consumed fluids. Checked it on Drugs.com and it is safe.

I am presently just using Flonase spray with plain saline spray to follow and feel better as I prefer not to take a 12 hour oral antihistamine.

All are over the counter.

Check with your doctor and go from there.

Let us know the outcome as I am sure that with the change of weather, we are not the only ones suffering.

Take Care.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Bet:)

I wish there was a different way to manage allergies, rather than take pills. However, my nephrologist always tells me that it is worse to suffer. So, my nephrologist OK's what I take for seasonal allergies
