I was given Claratin, non drowsy gell caps for a sinus infection last year- just made sure that I consumed fluids. Checked it on Drugs.com and it is safe.
I am presently just using Flonase spray with plain saline spray to follow and feel better as I prefer not to take a 12 hour oral antihistamine.
All are over the counter.
Check with your doctor and go from there.
Let us know the outcome as I am sure that with the change of weather, we are not the only ones suffering.
I wish there was a different way to manage allergies, rather than take pills. However, my nephrologist always tells me that it is worse to suffer. So, my nephrologist OK's what I take for seasonal allergies
