Ckd dizziness

I have been recently diagnosed with CKD 3. All labs normals except protein in urine.

I see a nephrologist in two weeks.

I have been experiencing dizziness.

Could this be a result of the protein?

What is your blood pressure? That could be a sign of low pressure.

I have been monitoring my blood pressure.

It’s been running between 104/107 over 66/69. Hightest 120/83.

My dr say that’s still within the normal range so he won’t take me off hbd meds until I see the nephrologist.

The dizziness could be from a lot of things. Maybe you are not drinking enough fluids or might be from your blood pressure. If you take meds for high pressure and you are low on fluids, it can make you dizzy. Protein in your urine doesn't usually doesn't have any symptoms. That's what is so awful about kidney disease...there usually are no symptoms unless you have high blood pressure.

Good luck to you. If the dizziness continues make sure you call your doctor. maybe he will need to run some lab work on you.

Might have your Neph check for Renal Anemia....My Neph put me on Iron pills and my dizziness and brain fog ceased..I did notice that the iron constipated me so he told me to take iron every other day... all fine now...
