Hi I'm new here ,just had blood tests done due to that have recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure,all fine apart from kidney function has gone down very slightly from what it was when i had my last blood test which was over 12 months ago .The surgery have booked me for another blood test in 2 weeks .Have spoken to the dr on the phone but they don't seem too concerned about it .I'm just getting myself a bit worked up about it

hi worry wont do you any good...the doctor cant be to worried so dont you be..kidney function must be at a non dangerous level..so chin up..that will make things a bit better..take care

Blood Pressure can be controlled by altering your diet. The docs will be trigger happy and ready to prescribe medication. Reduce your salt intake. Reduce/ eliminate as much processed food as possible. Processed food has a TON of salt in it. If you can try a plant based diet for a period of time until your BP numbers are better. Wishing you a happy and healthy life.
