Are we getting close.?
We are on day 9 on disimpaction, 8 movicol sachets a day and 7.5ml
dulcolax
as advised by the bowel nurse. We had been having very watery poos for a few days but they were still fairly brown. Today the only poo my son has had has been this one... Which isn't watery at all.

IBS C / Fibre problems
Dr suggested
Dulcolax
, but I’m nervous of that because of the pain and sometimes IBS cramps.Anyone tried it? This is keeping me at home as I’m in too much discomfort to go out and living alone it gets very depressing. Any suggestions gratefully received. Ros

picolax with impacted stool
Nothing I take works
dulcolax
miralax and movicol. I decided picolax is my last resort I only took one sachet and felt a lot of water coming out after fifteen minutes o been going to the toilet but only watery liquid is coming out. I have been taking a lot of movicol so idk if that’s the reason.

Worrying about symptoms
Constipated everyday, using movicol sachet and
dulcolax
to help with this. Frequently get anal bleeding and discharge, sorry if TMI. So still waiting around the 10 month mark now for gyne appointment.

Movicol everyday/ Tummy ache
Then I will have to give her
Dulcolax
to clear out which she hates. This was all recommended by her consultant. She is always complaining of tummy aches and I feel it's the movicol but it will be worse if I stop. We have tried to cut out Lactose and wheat but it didn't change anything.

constipation
i had an xray a few weeks back which revealed i had a hugely loaded bowel, as i only had a bowel movement once or twice a week and it was very hard/painful to pass. ive started laxatives (
dulcolax
) as prescribed by my doctor and they seemed to work for a few days, meaning i had a lot of bowel movements

Getting desperate. Horribly constipated. Any tips?!
Took 2
Dulcolax
yesterday at 9am. No effect. Took too more at bedtime. No effect. Had 2 prune smoothies yesterday too with zero effect. Plenty of coffee, which I don't normally drink. Gallons of water. I've walked 30km over the last week so exercise hasn't helped either.

Isn't it time for Constipation, like Mr Dangerfield to get some respect?
Dulcolax
works but I heard some horror stories. A PWP in my support group took a sleeping pill and
Dulcolax
the same night. Not a good ending. Been thinking. Can PD be caused by constipation? Be safe, take care and God bless. Happy Holidays!!

Help! Wondering why my 3.5 year old suddenly stopped pooping mid- disimpaction!
We have also been giving him pico sulphate (
dulcolax
- 4mg) at nights.... Long shot, but could it be that he is now fully cleared out in which case he can actually feel when he needs to poo and is getting back to some normality? Just wondering where to go next?

I have had a recommendation to take
Dulcolax
. Not sure I will, given all your alternate suggestions, but wonder if anyone here has taken it safely and successfully? Thanks for your eternal patients.

Colonoscopy Prep
My prep consists of
Dulcolax
and Miralax mixed with sports drinks. One 238 gram bottle of miralax with 64 ounces of sport drink. Has anyone else done this prep? I started last night and the prep goes through the weekend. I’m used the the one that you start the day before.

Nausea/Stomach Post-transplant
I have used miralax, psyllium husks, prunes, fruit, Colace,
dulcolax
and all sorts of remedies that I've read about. One of the nephrologists who did an exam of me post transplant gave me a prescription for Zofran. Unfortunately, he only gave me a 30-day supply.

How long ?
I’ve been trying to use a mild softener
dulcolax
duo 3 times a day but it makes my poo very thin poo and never felling fully empty. If I take stronger laxatives then I go like type 7 but then don’t constantly feeling I like I need to poo.

Fybogel (osmotic laxative) vs Laxido/Movicol (osmotic laxative) ?
While
dulcolax
(bisacodyl) seems to help to keep things moving and prevent wind getting locked in, I can't keep using it and have to switch to something safer long-term. Anyone got experience with fybogel and laxido/movicol for long term?
