Well, last night was a big surprise after dinner. After having no readings for 3 hours on the receiver, I ended up calling Technical Support to request for a free new sensor to be shipped out to me. After I had explained to the Tech. Support's Rep. what had happened, she said that the free sensor will be sent out and will be here between 3-5 days. To me, this is a good thing because it hopefully wouldn't be delayed too much being delivered. In some cases, depending on who answers the replacement requests, they sometimes don't ask the same questions. For most part, the same issues always happen, so I'm not sure why the questions tend to change with the different Rep. answering the calls/requests. This old sensor didn't make it for the full 10 days-- short by 3 days.

Yes, the new replacement will either be here on Wednesday or at the latest-- Friday before end of the day. I'm hoping the one I have on now and the one coming can work better than the one that had been removed. I'll do more updates about everything when I get more information.

Hi Leah, well, as you've had to request a new sensor, just as well your call was handled well. It does seem odd that there isn't a standard set of questions to be asked. Anyway, I hope the new one turns up as quickly as expected!
