I have just changed the old sensor and inserted the newest one. It's still in the warm-up period, so there's time before I have to do any of the calibrations. This gives me plenty of time to write about how the week went with the old sensor. You'll be very surprised!
For starters, I was a little stressed out when I was at the center earlier this week, but not as bad as the week before, so that's good. I was needing to have a few snacks while I was working since the numbers kept going down out of nowhere. Once that was taken care of, I went back to working.
I tested (as usual) each morning and during the day to make sure both the old sensor and the new testing monitor that I have been using was going together and that one wasn't extremely higher than the other. If one had been, then I would've recalibrated the DEXCOM and waited to see what the new number looked like afterwards, You always want to hope the numbers are at least close enough. The best thing is: the old sensor lasted for 7 days! I'm so happy.
