Hello everyone, can anyone help me with some tips to get rid of prediabetes? I have been diagnosed with prediabetes and I do not want it to develop to full-blown diabetes. I therefore need some help especially for diet and exercise. My weight is pretty good (69kg)

In terms of diet - look for foods that have a low glycemic index - these are ones that either are low in carbohydrates or where the carbohydrate need a lot of digestion and are broken down into sugars very slowly.
Try using non-starchy vegetables as a substitute for starchy food - eg cauliflower rather than potatoes, rice, pasta.
Avoid refined foods.
In terms of exercise it would be best if you could talk through with your doctor/a medic just in case there are other health issues that you need to take into account. May be start with brisk walking and build up from there.
