Hello everyone! I hope you're having a great day/evening/morning so far.
This is my update on the way things had been going with the DEXCOM. Hopefully, this won't be too short.
With last week's sensor, that had lasted the entire 7 days, but had a slight hiccup and alarmed that I was out of range for a while when I was sleeping at night. That was the only time I had to get up early. This was good.
I inserted the new sensor today-- this morning. So far, this new sensor is working pretty well. No complaints so far. It's taking some time to get use to the body, but it's still working.
More to come soon! Another new posting will be done next week.

Thank you so much for your compliment, Hidden . I really appreciate it!😀👍 I try really hard to get the numbers to a ‘normal’ range as best as I can. Sometimes, the DEXCOM alarms while I sleep during the night hours. This is because the numbers are dropping.
I’ve been diabetic for 36 years and a type 1. I’m 38 years old and my blood sugars can drop very low during the night hours ( one reason why I have gotten the DEXCOM). Other reason is, I don’t know when I’m low ( I can’t feel them).
I had esophageal cancer in 2006 which messed up my diabetes...my husband is only getting a nights sleep now because of this Dexcom, it has really changed us - I have had so many severe hypos in front of my 7 and 8 year old as like you I do not know when I am low. I was 10 when I was diagnosed and am 44 now. I can really relate to what you are going through,
