Here’s the update on how things went with the sensor from last Friday. Very interesting!
To start with, the sensor took its time getting use to me. I wasn’t really happy about it, but it was okay after the first two days.
During the week, that sensor was okay until Thursday on and off. Twice, it said I had been out of range. Not sure how that was possible since the receiver was right in front of me. Odd, but it didn’t last long.
The new sensor was put in this morning and it has been really good so far. No issues!😀👍

Thank you for the good luck. With the heat, the sticky tape around the transmitter had to have tape added so nothing would fall off today. This isn't the first time something like that has happened.
Hi!
Are you the only one who uses this type of Sensor
. It seems to me that their unreliability is unremittingly bad! I know you say they are handmade but there must surely be another Supplier that does a better job than the one you use! I’m from an electronics engineering background and if any of our Suppliers had supplied stuff as unreliable as yours seem to be - well they they wouldn’t be a Supplier any longer! Sorry to come across so negative but I really feel for you with all the problems you have to endure ☹️.
Sorry for popping in 2 days late. Yes the sensorshave some defects and it is an on going issue for us, the IT team has has now been trained to handled and manage any of these issues and get you a replacement sensor out ASAP at no charge. You still pay for your regular senors but if you have one they can document( they are on share with your DEXCOM) and can tell if it failed. I've had many issues and they have improved service so much over the last 6 months, knowledgeable individuals to speak with on each situation. Every body types are different and as Activity pointed and weather is a factor effecting a Type1 so many issues to handle. She does a fantastic job keeping all of us that are DEXCOM users updated on her status. The never ending termoils but life saving machine in my case. As I'm sure for Activity, I wish her well today and hope she had a wonderful holiday weekend.
You sure do sound fantastic! My weekend was so excellent my son's best friend from the time he was 2 and my dear friend had a small get together grilling out with all the trimmings. Super keto salads, fruits and veggie's for health food for non keto. Know one would have been guessed. My son made a blackberry buckle cobble option ice cream had to have some minus the ice cream. Her son is finish college in engeering in FL. has not been home for over a yr., miss him dearly. Was like a son spent so much time with us, even babysat for free for her since they were so close while she worked as a single mom. Her 2nd child 18yrs another father which I hardly know was there with her boyfriend great to spend time with them. Grand kids were perfect which they are always and had such fun playing with Grace her daughter. Then it got to be the adults and old memories, new times, current events-books, music. My blood sugar did super stable, what a dream it is to have the DEXCOM 6 so you see what is happening within your system. I can not think of living without, this is an example going to a function and knowing I'm safe. Glad you had a wonderful one time- great to chat!
