It depends on what is causing your high blood sugar levels. Cannot really help without a lot more info on your diabetes management.

What is your usual diet consist of? Are you type 1 or Type 2? My blood sugar has been high recently so i am trying to cut out really carby foods like potatoes, rice, pasta and bread. I also avoid pies and pastries. I Try and think in terms of every time i eat a bowl of rice or a plate of potatoes i am eating a bowl of sugar. I know there isn’t as much sugar in potatoes as there is in sugar but our body converts carbs into glucose so try and look at what you are eating. Also I have been told exercise is good at lower blood sugar, i am yet to successfully manage that. But keep going.
