Out for a walk

I have been out in the sunshine. Done more than 2miles & this is my day off. I don't like sitting still. Out to see the relatives this afternoon.

I hope you had a great walk this morning and you enjoyed the weather. I love being outside when it's not as cold or hot. I like the temps. to be somewhere in the middle and still be comfortable no matter what I end up planning to do for the day.

You cant beat being out in the sunshine. I am defiantly a summer person. I grow my own toms & strawberries in my garden & love finishing work & having stuff out of the garden.

That's fantastic to hear. How many vegetables do you have planted?

Toms, Strawberry & spinach. My mates call me Popeye at times when they are taking the mik. & I nearly forgot Rhubarb which if you go on the web is good for diabetics (not cooking a bag of sugar) use sweetener.

Rhubarb sounds good. Haven't had any in a while.... May look for it in the next couple of weeks if we don't have any at the garden for the Seniors. Do you plant lettuce?

I have been trying to grow spinach, but as soon as the shoots start appearing, something is eating them. I love spinach, eat it with everything especially tinned fish!

In a pan with a bit butter spinach is very tasty, I grow mine in a cast pot & it never stops growing. I don't know the name/type but it puts a smile on my face. Good luck hansi.
