So what did the doctors say to you when you were diagnosed. I presume you were diagnosed you only say you were tested.

Hi Lenny your doctor should of explained to you if you required medicine, I was diagnosed type 2 just before Christmas as I had high cholesterol, I take 1 tablet a day and it seems to be working, for my diabetes I am on a diet and excercise routine I was 16 stone and now 13. 7 I also stopped smoking.

Lenny2, I am not a doctor and would never say yes or no to what you should do about taking medication, but I would suggest you see your family doctor or Encronoligist to discuss the issue. Diabetes can be controlled in many ways, diet, exercise and meds but your doctor needs to make that decision. Diabetes can be a serious health risk and you need to speak to the right people in controlling it.
