I had undergone angioplasty in 2004 when diabetes was detected. put on medicines, and again in 2008 angioplasty was done. My Blood sugar short upto PP 400 mg/dl plus level but with medicines in was brought down now to FBS 124 and pp 243 mg/dl. In between I had an attach of hyper hypoglycemia. Medicine was changed and shall be got checked again after 2-3 days. LOT OF RESEARCHES ARE BEING CARRIED OUT IN MEDICAL SCIENCE TO FIND A PERMANENT SOLUTION TO CURE DIABTESE, WHAT IS THE PROGRESS IN THIS REGARD, CAN THE PRESENT BE ABLE TO DERIVE BENEFIT OF THAT RESEARCH WHEN THE DIABETES CAN BE CURED PERMANENTLY AND THE PEOPLE WILL START LIVING MEDICINE FREE LIFE IN SO FAR AS THIS DESEASE IS CONCERNED?

This is one disease which cant be cured permanently.Once you contract it you have to live with it.You have to change your life style and eating habits.I have been suffering for the past 13 years with sugar levels as high as 555.With change of doctors about 2 months back,it has now come down to average of 170.I have given up eating rice fully and having

oats, boiled veggies, lot of salads and only 3 chappatis in the night. My doctor is happy with my progress and has taken a challenge that he will get be off insulin in the next 40 days.It needs lot of will power and change all your habits.I walk for about 2 hours everyday.I am confident that you will get over this disease with little will power.

Angioplasty is done for removal of blocks in blood vessels. These blocks appear due to uncontrolled diabetes and so long as you don't contol your diabetes you are prone to get heart attack a, kidney failure and paralisis of brain. Don't think it may not happen to you. It can happen to any body who do not control diabetes and angioplasty is not a permanent solution. The permanent solution lies with you control over diabetes..
