I am Diabetic and many times get swelling on my joint of foot and leg pl advise any aurveik medicine

I am a diabetic for the last 12 years. Started allopathic treatment and still continuing and the problems are under control with tablets. Visited alternative medical practitioners, of course well Qualified, but they said one can take ayurvedic or homoeopathic etc medicines along with the allopathic ones - tablets should not be stopped. Other system medicines can take care of the side effects and other associated problems but cannot control sugar or cure diabetics. No qualified doctor ever recommends any so called herbal preparations as there is no evidence about their efficacy or the proof of its contents as advertised in various periodicals. The best methods to control diabetes is brisk morning walk for 40 min, controlled food and medicines prescribed by a well qualified doctor. Should avoid all unnecessary worries, if cannot then practise Pranayama.
