i am having diadtes type2. can I drink alcohol?

Suggestion is NO. Alcohol inhibits the absorption of Insulin (either produced by Pancreas or injected). Not a good idea to drink alcohol.

Not advised as Aolcohol provides empty Calories, can increase appetite an

d in larger doses can cause hypoglycemia. But an occasional weekend treat of

2 drinks taken slowly will not cause any harm. Limit quantity to 2 drinks, avoid

RUM Black, Whiskeys and Brandy. White Liquers like Vodka, White Rum etc diluted with water and no sweet aeriated stuff preferred wth no snacking of fried stuff. If you can stick to tender coconnut water it will be the best !
