I am 64 old and very new to this diabetes. just infected last year. is it type 1 or 2 ?

Sir Diabetes is not a infection. Its a hormonal disease which cause decrease in release of Insulin from pancreas. Insulin helps the body to regulate the blood sugar level.

Please consult a good Doctor & get proper counselling about Diabetes.

In Diabetes Type 1 the body is not producing insulin, while in Diabetes Type 2 the cells are not responding properly to the insulin, and/or there is not enough insulin being produced.
