What are the figures please? And have you re-checked it from another lab?

With medicine thw two figures are 124 and again 124. The results have been rechecked at a different lab with only minor changes.

That means glucose supply is abnormal during night time; if you are not taking tab/insulin during night, consult doctor and get a small dose prescribed. If you are already onnight medication, adjust the dose (slightly higher) for some days and check FBS. The best way is to CUT DOWN ON FOOD INTAKE DURING LATE EVENINGS/NIGHTS; avoid rice and other starch rich foods (potato based side dishes). Eat 1 roti with very small quantity of subji and compensate balance with (perhaps half or full plate) green salad - cucumber/carrot/tomato sliced and sprinkle salt and add bit lemon juice. This is a fantastic diet that can help control your night glucose levels. PRIMARY REQUIREMENT: willingness to cut down quantity of food.

I think u are taking fast acting insulin at night.so at night around 3,the effect of insulin is completed.then liver releases glucose in blood by glycolysis.it increases fbs.so u may should switch oves long acting insulin.consult physician.

A medicine with Sustained Release might help. Please consult your doctor.
