What did your doctor say while prescribing the medicine?

Hope you have taken your doctor's prescription. He must have written very clearly. Please see and also ask your doctor.

Normally all diabetic medicines are taken before meals, but please confirm with your Doctor.

Most diabetic medicines are recommended to be taken with food. Since drugs take time to metabolize, it really doesn't matter whether you take it just before eating or just after eating because there is only a gap of about 15 minutes between the two. In the case of metformin, you are advised to take it before eating food. I myself experimented and found that it makes no difference.

Tribet 2 contains GLIMEPIRIDE 2MG+METFORMIN HYDROCHLORIDE 500MG+PIOGLITAZONE 15MG

.

Tribet 2 Tablet ER should be taken in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It must be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose. Overdose may lead to low blood sugar (hypoglycemia).
