Good reference . Just cut out the ice cream which is poison for us
Rest are much needed for all including diabetics.
We don't think twice before consuming any junk fried stuff but have a morbid fear for good fats like butter & ghee
Its time we realize & dump those deep fried in industrial seed oil snacks & start taking butter & ghee.
While eating(Amul) cheese,i find it tastes very salty. Its lebel says,100gm of cheese has :26 gm Fat,1400 mg sodium,343 mg of calcium. The daily recommended dose of sodium is 2300 mg.. However one should try to restrict it to 1500 mg to avoid high BP and heart risk.My question is whether higher intake of cheese ( in LCHF), would rise sodium level or otherwise?.. How to avoid salty taste of cheese, especially while eating direct cheese cubs.Normaly i eat one or two cubs at a time (weighing 25 gm each).
If you follow lchf then you need more salt
There is retention of salt and water in those who take high carbs
Those on lchf tend to lose salt and water from their system. So some additional salt is needed
If you are following lchf then no need to worry
Option of unsalted amul butter is also available now. DRH-sangli
