Consume oats porridge with milk. The established property of their cholesterol-lowering effects has led to acceptance of oats as a health food.

Take Fish liver oil capsules. High doses of omega-3s can reduce levels of triglycerides.

Hello Narayan. By taking supplements alone will not help you much. Overall diet have to be good to achieve good results. Avoid oily food like samosa kachori Puri pakode etc. Avoid maida. Avoid sugary food like sweets. Start walking in morning or evening or both time according to your schedule. Try to eat light in dinner. And have walk after 30/ 40 Min of dinner. You will see the difference. Good luck.

If you want good results, buy arjun bark from any ayurvedic store. Every day night take approx small piece of 2" x1" wash it and immerse in half glass water. In morning add some more water and boil for 5 minutes ( do not remove arjun bark ). Strain the water and take the strained water. You will see very good result in 30 days. Continue for 3 months. Then repeat after gap of every 3 months.

Have you talked to the doctor about the issue? When was your last appointment? Did you get a list of foods you can and can’t eat?

If you are hypothyroid you will have high cholesterol, it is not a big deal. Look it up, the conditions are linked. You need cholesterol anyhow, the science is changing. Don’t panic. My husband has low chol and still has artery plaques. The doctors have no answers.

Start having Virgin coconut oil, two spoons everyday one in the morning and one in the evening. This has hugely helped me reduce my cholesterol levels, specially HDL has increased from 45 to 60 and triglycerides have become normal. Take it for a month see the results and then continue. Also there is no way you will be able to have healthy lipid profile if you keep taking carbs.
