Why sugar levels high with insulin? My doctor is asking me to consult endocrinologist. Why ?

Faulty diet.Very badly managed D.Sorry for my words but you need to learn about lchf keto diet.But a word of precaution. Don't practice lchf half heartedly and take expert advice on insulin dosages when you start practising lchf or you will end up with severe hypo.

Eat less food more times in a day.

You should not take meals at night.

Check your blood sugar daily and avoid or reduce foods that cause high blood sugar.

If you have high blood sugar, you can increase insulin dosage by 2 units.

Undergo HbA1c test.
