Getting control of blood sugar

Novomix 3o.......30 units at b/f and 20 units at dinner plus Janumet 50/500 twice daily.....more of less hood control.

I think I can switch over plain metform 500 instead of Janumet combination.

Can anyone advise whether I can change the pattern.

Please do not act in haste. Let the blood sugar estabilise at non diabetic level for some time.then with consultation of your treating diabetologist,make necessary adjustment in your drug regimen.

I was also taking Janumet 50/500 ,daily once with Mixtard 30-25 units in the morning and 20 units after dinner, daily.From last 15 days, I have started yoga for 1 Hr daily and my insulin units reduced to 8 and 6 units daily.

Pl try yoga for diabetes and diet control,you will get better results.

Sri ramana -janumet is sitagliptin an metformin combination drug. And it works well on type.2 diabetes controlling.

U have a cheaper options of same combination of glenmark -zitamet Rs. 149 mrp for 10 tab.

Pl follow yoga for diabetes by Ramdev baba.eg.pranayama,asanas,and diet as suggested.You can have the details at any patanjali centers or stores.

Follow this very basic food eating tips:

1. Eat only when ur hungry [don’t go eat lunch just bz its 1 pm...don’t eat time basis]

2. Chew 25 times [count literally each bite]

3. Don’t drink water before or during or after food for 1 hr minimum.

4. Stop when you get 1st Burp while eating. When you chew 25 time, you will get burp - its a signal that ur full.

5. Finish dinner on or before 7 pm

5. Then do walking daily 30 mins a day.
