I had my flu jab this morning and went shopping by the time I got home two hours later I was feeling awful and had all the symptoms of a hypo. When I checked my b.s. 12'7 which is very high for me. I had to go to bed no choice could not stay awake. I slept for 3 hours and felt slightly better but after being up for about 30 mins I was worse than ever. B.s. was now 19 I took some insulin and went back to bed. I have slept for another 10hours I now feel much better level is down to 10.3. I can only assume it was the flu jab.

I am t2 insulin dependant and am 67 yrs old. I live in Scotland. Just wondering if anyone else has had a severe reaction to the flu jab. Never had a reaction this severe it was frightening.
