Today, I had gotten a flu shot at my doctor’s office in the morning hours. Here’s the link to the posting and information about it. It’s posted on the DRWF group page on HU. Please see: healthunlocked.com/drwfdiab...

Are you allergic to anything that is in the shot?

I have been refusing flue jab for many years.

UK, NHS, GP practice do send me SMS and phone call every year for flue jab.

A I see it even with flue jab I can catch flue. This because my wife take jab every year, year before she had very bad flue!!!

It can be worse if a person doesn’t get the shot. It depends on the person and if they are allergic to anything in it.😀👍🌈

I wouldn't trust having any vaccine with my odd reactions to anything invasive. How do they know the strain anyway when they are mutating all the time and do you know exactly what is in the vaccine - I bet the injector doesn't even know that!

Are you allergic to eggs and other ingredients used for the shot? Some people can't get the shot because no matter what else is in the flu shots, they always include egg as one of the ingredients.

Yes, I am and I am sure I am allergic to other components, too. I believe many also contain Aluminium and Mercury both of which I am allergic to and not surprising as Mercury is a poison that has to be disposed of very carefully in the industrial world, but was ok for fillings and that is where I think I developed the allergy. I had them all removed, but still have the allergy!

It’s okay. It’s safer to not use the shot if you have allergies to the shot. Good to know that. Some people who aren’t allergic to anything in it don’t get it sometimes because they don’t believe it will help them.😀👍🌈

Yes. It is safer sometimes to go with the gut feeling!

That’s right. We don’t want to get sick from foods/medications that we are allergic to.😀👍🌈
